Identify and Exploit Enemy WeaknessesĮxploiting enemy weaknesses is the key to success in Persona 5 Strikers. ![]() Magic skills cost SP, while melee skills cost HP.Įventually, you gain the ability to use the Skills of any of your party members, making your party effective against a greater range of enemy types. You can also see whether a target within the area of effect has a natural weakness to that skill, and you can take this opportunity to adjust where you want to perform your skill. When performing a skill, a blue box will appear indicating where your skill will land. Pulling up the skills menu will cause the time to stop. One of the more interesting mechanics in Persona 5 Strikers is the skill system. If you end a combo sequence with your secondary attack button, you will perform a finisher that deals a huge amount of damage in an area. More importantly, the gun also serves as a combo modifier - you can perform various combos by stringing together different sequences of your primary and secondary attacks. When pressed, this will cause your character to fire his gun at a target, allowing you to deal damage to targets from a distance. When performed in the air, these melee attacks will launch enemies skyward, allowing the opportunity for aerial combos. If you’re unfamiliar with Musou games, combat in this type of genre revolves around performing combinations of sweeping melee attacks to deal damage to crowds of enemies. Here’s a quick Persona 5 Strikers beginner’s guide with all the important stuff you need to know to hit the ground running. #PERSONA 5 STRIKERS SKILL CARDS SERIES#Persona 5 Strikers is so different from any other game in the franchise that even series veterans will need a little time to get accustomed to the new systems. Honestly, Persona 5 Strikers is not one you would want to miss out on, being a cross between Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors and Persona 5 itself! The game is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch as well as PC. The over-the-top style and flashy abilities of the original Persona 5 are well-suited for the hard-hitting, real-time action we get in Strikers, and it’s both a blast to play and a sight to see. Things are a bit different this time around - Strikers trades the series’ celebrated turn-based combat for Musou-style hack-and-slashing, but this unexpected pairing of forms is a match made in heaven. Persona 5 Strikers is rounding up the old gang for more high-flying, monster-slaying action. ![]() ![]() Shibuya's pool is ranks 1-3.Persona 5 Strikers: Beginner’s Guide Special thanks to OffGamers for the guest blog submission! Read more by OffGamers! Seemingly it's weighted to the higher ranks more though. In Merciless at least, mobs will drop 2 copies of whatever they drop.įrom what I can tell, each location has its own set of ranks it pulls from but does include the lower ranks of locations before it (can only confirm for Treasure Demons). It will pull from ranks 15-19 randomly regardless. The latter pool does not change between locations. In Merciless, treasure Demons pull from that pool for the first line of cards giving 5 copies, and another pool for the second giving 2. However, they will only pull from their pool one time and give 2 copies of them. Never farmed treasure Demons in those as it is harder to get and maintain a high security level in them for me so I don't know if they do too. In Easy-Hard mode the mobs, treasure chests, pull from the same rank pools. If you see a card drop, then that same place will drop any other card of that rank. It seems that the drop tables are organized by ranks. #PERSONA 5 STRIKERS SKILL CARDS FULL#* The Demiurge drops the Deus Feather - Enduring Soul Accessory: When KO'd, revive with full HP once per battle. * Akira Konoe drops the Panacea Tiara - Fortify Spirit Accessory: Resist ailments. * Mari Hyodo drops the Grand Crystal - Chance of skill cost of 0 Accessory: Rare (~25%?) chance for a skill to cost 0 SP. * Ango Natsume drops the Burst Emblem - Knockdown Style Accessory: Increase guard damage for critical hits. ![]() * Alice drops the Impish Corsage - Soul Theif Accessory: SP drain while ailments have been inflicted on the enemy. Story bosses drop the following accessories in their Painful Memory+ requests (In Merciless the normal versions drop the accessories as well): Story bosses drop null cards in Painful Memory+ Requests unless in Merciless when they are Absorbs instead. This is just fun for me since no one seems to have done too much on it. Do not take anything here as absolute or complete. #PERSONA 5 STRIKERS SKILL CARDS FREE#Feel free to post if you want to help out. I'll be trying to compile them here as I find them out. I've also found no comprehensive list of skill card locations. All the sites online are incomplete pulling from basic pre-release info at best. I've lurked around here and seen mention of important accessories that rng drop from bosses but I've seen no mention on what they are or who drops what. ![]()
